A week in Chicago – the great midwestern city on Lake Michigan. Besides strolling down the famous River Walk and visiting the Navy Pier, Elogistic attended and exhibited at this year’s Internet Retailer Conference and Exposition, also known as the IRCE. After attending the SubSummit in New Orleans in May, we had big expectations for this event – and we haven’t been disappointed.
At the McCormick Convention Center, experts in retail, e-commerce and logistics came together to share their expertise and knowledge at the flagship show of the industry. Beginners and experts can learn about the latest innovations, meet new vendors who can help them with various aspects of their business, and gain a great amount of knowledge from over 200 speakers at various talks being given. The 600 vendors in attendance illustrated the enormous growth this industry has been experiencing and the evolving nature of the e-commerce industry.
Besides enjoying the famous Chicago deep dish pizza, we had an incredible time speaking with our partners, prospects, and all the people interested in fulfillment and logistics. Most attendees were surprised by our global presence and intrigued to hear more about the cost-effective offerings available. It was exciting to see how many people already understand the value of outsourcing the fulfillment and how this allows sellers to focus less on operations and more on their core business. If you are also looking into streamlining your fulfillment process, get in touch with Elogistic to see how we can help you!
In case you’re interested in attending IRCE in 2020, save a spot on your calendar for June 9-11th. Chances are looking good that we will see you there!
